I’ve spent the last ten years guiding in places like Alaska, Chile, Georgia, and Montana. I’ve been lucky to fish and work on a lot of great water and spend a lot of time doing this for a living.

Northern Michigan is still home!

Some of my favorite rivers are here, and they’re the ones I keep coming back to. I know them well, I fish them often, and I still enjoy being on them every time I’m out there.

When I’m guiding, I keep things pretty straightforward. I pay attention to the water, the conditions, and the people I’m fishing with. We move at a pace that makes sense for the day, and if plans change, that’s usually fine too.

Whether someone’s brand new to fishing or has been doing it for years, I try to keep things easy to follow and relaxed. I’m always happy to explain what I’m seeing, answer questions, and adjust as we go. The goal is to have a good day on the water and enjoy the time spent out there.
